Cancellations and no-shows
Change a trip's status from the trip page — mark it Cancelled if the ride won't happen, or No show if the passenger wasn't there at pickup.
Plans change. When a ride won't happen, record it on the trip so your board stays accurate and your records stay clean.
What each status means
Every trip moves through statuses, and you can see them on the Trips page and the dispatch board:
- Scheduled — waiting for assignment or dispatch
- Assigned — driver is assigned but hasn't started
- En route to pickup — driver is heading to pickup
- At pickup — driver is waiting at pickup
- Passenger onboard — passenger is in the vehicle
- Completed — dropoff is finished
- Cancelled — trip will not be completed
- No show — passenger was unavailable at pickup
Drivers update most of these automatically from the driver app as they work the trip. You only need to step in when something goes wrong.
Cancel a trip
Open the trip — click it on the Trips page or on the dispatch board.
Find the status control on the trip's leg. Round trips have one for each leg, so you can cancel just the return leg if the passenger only rides one way.
Choose Cancelled. If the passenger wasn't there when the driver arrived, choose No show instead — keeping the two separate makes your reports much more useful.
Fixing a mistake
Picked the wrong status? Use the undo arrow next to the status control to step back one status — for example, from At pickup back to En route to pickup.
A couple of rules to know:
- To set a trip back to Scheduled, unassign the driver first.
- Statuses like En route to pickup or Completed need a driver on the trip — assign one first.
Cancelled trips stay in your records
Cancelling doesn't delete anything. The trip stays in your Trips list and your reports, marked Cancelled — exactly what you want for clean records and no-show tracking.

Driver shifts
Set up weekly recurring patterns in Settings under Driver Schedule, then click Build next 14 days to create the daily shifts that put drivers on the dispatch board.
Add a driver
Invite a driver from the Drivers page by sending them an invitation code by email or SMS, which they use to join your team in the driver app.
