Welcome to HealthRide
Set up your company first, invite your team, then add drivers, vehicles, and passengers, and book your first trip.
HealthRide is where you run your transportation operation: book trips, assign drivers, track the day on the dispatch board, and handle billing — all in one place. This guide covers setup in the order that works best.
Finding your way around
Everything lives in the sidebar on the left:
- Dashboard, Dispatch, and Live Map at the top. Dispatch is the dispatch board — your daily schedule of trips.
- Operations holds Trips, Passengers, Drivers, Vehicles, Facilities, and Communications.
- Finance holds Billing.
- Insights holds Reports.
- System, at the bottom, holds Integrations, Settings, and Support.
You will spend most of your day on the dispatch board. Setup mostly happens in Settings and the Operations pages.
Recommended setup order
Work through these in order. Each step has its own article in this knowledge base.
Set up your company. Open Settings and fill in your company name, timezone, phone, and address. Follow Set up your company.
Invite your team. Give your dispatchers and office staff their own logins with the right level of access. Follow Invite your team.
Add your drivers and vehicles. Go to Drivers and Vehicles in the sidebar. Follow Add a driver and Add a vehicle.
Add passengers and facilities. Enter the people you transport and the clinics, dialysis centers, and other places they go. Follow Add a passenger and Connect a facility.
Book your first trip. Create a trip, assign a driver, and follow it on the dispatch board.
Set up billing. Start with How billing works, then create and send invoices.
The order is a recommendation, not a requirement
You can add drivers before passengers, or set up billing later. This order simply avoids backtracking.

Set up your company
Go to Settings > Company to enter your display name, legal name, timezone, DOT and NPI numbers, phone, and street address, then click Save changes.
