What makes HealthRide different from other NEMT software?

Most traditional NEMT software feels outdated, complicated, and disconnected. HealthRide is modern software built to be clean, fast, and responsive, and it is designed from the ground up to be AI-first, with one-click schedule optimization, a built-in assistant, and an AI receptionist on the way. A single connected system takes each ride from booking to dispatch to billing without re-entering anything, and new features ship every week.

Is HealthRide HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. HealthRide is built for healthcare from the ground up. Patient information is encrypted and protected, your team only sees what their role allows, and we sign business associate agreements with our providers.

Can I switch from my current NEMT software without starting over?

Yes. A guided import brings your passengers, drivers, vehicles, and facilities in from your current system, including exports from ModivCare, MTM, TripMaster, Bambi, MediRoutes, and RoutingBox, with the column matching done for you. We help hands-on, and most teams are running within days.

What can drivers do from the HealthRide driver app?

Everything a shift needs: clock in and out, see the day’s trips, run each ride step by step, open turn-by-turn navigation in one tap, capture signatures, and message dispatch in real time, on iPhone or Android. The app even keeps working without cell signal and catches up automatically when coverage returns.

Does HealthRide only handle credit-card payments?

No. Card processing is built in, and payment links, cash, checks, facility invoices, and insurance payments are all recorded in the same ledger, matched to trips and invoices. Whatever route the money takes, you always know what you are owed.

Is it really $59 per vehicle? What’s the catch?

There is no catch. Every core feature, including dispatch, the driver app, live tracking, billing, and reports, is included in one simple price that scales only with the size of your fleet. Running a larger operation? Talk to us and we will make it easy.

Can I run broker trips from MTM or ModivCare in HealthRide?

You can run them today like any other trip, and the records brokers care about, including on-time performance, GPS-verified miles, and signature proof of service, are captured automatically. Direct broker connections are in development, and early-access providers help decide which brokers come first.

How long does it take to get started?

About a day, and we help. Your data imports in, the portal explains itself in plain English, and drivers learn the app in minutes. Most teams are running real trips within their first week.
