Book a standing ride once, and HealthRide adds each day’s trip to your schedule for you.
Steps
At the top of any page, select the + button, then Trip. Fill in Passenger, Payer, Ride type and Travel needs as for any trip.
Under Repeats, turn on Repeat this trip.
In First and last day, pick when the schedule starts and ends. It starts on today and runs for 90 days until you change it.
Under On these days, select the days, like Mon, Wed and Fri.
Under Route, add the pickup and drop-off, and type the Pickup time. For the ride home, select Round trip and type its pickup time.
If one driver usually takes this ride, pick them in Usual driver. Each day’s trip goes to them when they have a shift that day.
Select Create recurring trip. You’ll see “Recurring trip created.”
Pause, end or change it
In the menu on the left, under Operations, select Trips. Then select the Recurring tab.
Select the rider’s row. You’ll see the days it repeats and the next trip dates.
Select Pause to stop new trips for a while, like when the rider is in the hospital. Trips already on your schedule stay. Select Resume to start again.
Or select End repeating…, then End repeating, to stop it for good. Upcoming trips that never ran are removed. Trips that already happened stay in your trips.
To change one day, open that day’s trip on the Trips tab. Select Edit trip to change the time or an address, or cancel it. To change the days or the pickup time from now on, end the repeating trip and book a new one.
Good to know
- You see 45 days ahead. HealthRide keeps the next 45 days of trips on your schedule, so you can plan them and give them to drivers.
- There’s no price on the form. Each day’s trip is priced from your rates when it’s added.
- No shift, no driver. On a day the usual driver has no shift, the trip waits under Unassigned on Dispatch. It goes to them once you add their shift in the crew schedule.
- Made it by mistake? If none of its trips ran or were billed, select Delete series… to erase the schedule and all its trips.
If something looks wrong
