Get paid online
Connect Stripe under Settings then Payments so facilities and self-pay passengers can pay you by card or bank, with payouts sent to your bank account.
HealthRide uses Stripe to move money: payers pay by card or bank on a secure page, and Stripe pays the money out to your bank account. Connecting takes a few minutes, one time.
Open Settings and click Payments.
Click Connect Stripe.
Fill in the Finish Stripe setup form. Stripe asks for your business details, your identity, and the bank account for payouts. It asks because it is moving real money to that account.
Watch the status badge at the top of the page. It moves from Setup needed to In review — you can already accept payments while Stripe reviews — and then to Ready.
If the badge ever says Action needed, Stripe has paused payments until you add more information. Open the Payments page and the form will show exactly what is missing.
After you connect
The Payments page gains four tabs:
- Payouts — your balance and the transfers on the way to your bank.
- Payments — every card and bank payment received, plus any disputes.
- Account — your business and bank details, editable any time.
- Documents — tax documents from Stripe.
What payers see
When a facility clicks the payment link in an invoice email, or a self-pay passenger opens the link you send at booking, they land on a secure payment page showing the amount due. They pay by card or bank — no account or app needed. The payment records itself on the invoice automatically.
Links wait for Stripe
Until Stripe is connected, the Billing page shows a "Stripe payments are not connected" banner and payment links cannot go out. Connect Stripe before you send your first invoice.
What next? Create and send invoices.
Record a payment
Open the invoice, click "Record payment", and log a check, ACH, wire, or cash payment so the balance goes down.
Import from a spreadsheet
Import passengers, drivers, vehicles, or facilities by uploading a CSV file in Settings, then Imports & Exports, checking the column mapping, and committing the valid rows.
