The dispatch board

The Dispatch page shows one timeline row per driver for the day; drag trips from the Unassigned panel onto a driver's row to assign them, or use AI Auto-Assign.

Click Dispatch in the left menu to open the board. It shows one row per driver for the selected day, laid out on a 24-hour timeline. Use the arrows at the top to move between days, or click the date to jump back to today. The left column shows each driver's name, their vehicle, and their shift hours.

Each trip appears as a colored block at its pickup time. The color is the trip's status:

  • Gray — scheduled, not started
  • Blue — assigned to a driver
  • Indigo — driver en route to pickup
  • Amber — driver arrived, waiting at pickup
  • Teal — passenger picked up
  • Green — completed
  • Red — cancelled or no-show

Hover over a block to see the passenger, addresses, driver, and vehicle. Click a block to open the full trip.

Assigning trips by hand

The Unassigned panel on the right lists every trip for the day that has no driver. You can search it, and filter with the All / Ready / Blocked tabs — blocked trips are on hold (usually waiting on payment) and can't be assigned yet.

  • Drag a trip card from the panel onto a driver's row to assign it.
  • Drag a block from one driver's row to another to reassign it.
  • Drag a block back onto the Unassigned panel to unassign it.

Trips with a lock icon can't be dragged, and trips that are already underway stay where they are.

AI Auto-Assign

Instead of dragging trips one by one, you can let the system suggest assignments:

In the Unassigned panel, tick the trips you want assigned, or click Select All.

Click AI Auto-Assign. In the "Choose driver shifts" window, tick the drivers you want it to use, then click Run Auto-Assign.

The Auto-Assign Review panel opens with the suggestions — how many are new assignments, how many moved, and any trips that need review. Click Apply to accept everything, or Reject to discard it. Nothing changes until you click Apply.

Each driver's row has a small menu with quick actions: Edit assignment, Unassign all trips, Extend shift 30 min, and adding a break.

No rows on the board?

If the board says "No active drivers," no one has a shift for that day. Drivers only get a row once they have a shift — see Driver shifts.
