Trips & dispatch

Create a trip

Book a trip from the Trips page or the dispatch board by clicking Plan trip, choosing a passenger, setting pickup and dropoff, and clicking Create Trip.

You can book a trip from two places: click Plan trip on the Trips page, or New Trip at the top of the dispatch board. Both open the same "Plan a New Trip" window.

Under Passenger & Billing, choose the passenger. Their saved home address and facility (if they have one) appear below the field, so you can reuse them in the next step.

Pick the Service Type: Regular, Wheelchair, or Stretcher.

In the Route section, enter the pickup and dropoff addresses. If the passenger has saved addresses, click Use home or Use facility instead of typing. Then set the Pickup Date & Time.

Optionally pick a Driver and Vehicle. You can leave both as "Unassigned" and assign the trip later on the dispatch board.

Click Calculate route & pricing. You'll see the route on a map with the distance, duration, and fare.

Under Payer & fare, choose who pays: Passenger self-pay, Facility pays, or Record later. You can type a different amount in Final Fare (you can override).

Click Create Trip.

Round trips

For a return ride, click Add Leg in the Route section. The new leg starts where the last one ended (shown as "Continues from"), so you only enter the return dropoff and a later pickup time. A trip can have up to 8 legs, and each leg can have its own driver and vehicle.

Recurring trips

For standing orders (for example, dialysis three times a week), turn on the Repeat this trip switch in the Repeats section. Set the Service Date Range and pick the days under Repeat On. The Route section becomes a "Trip Template" where you set a pickup time, plus a default driver and vehicle if you want. Click Create Recurring Trip. There's no fare step here — each day's trip is priced when it's created.

Self-pay trips offer a payment link

When you create a one-time self-pay trip, a "Trip ready" screen appears with the checkout link. You can open it, copy it to share with the passenger, or click Collect later.
